I know the liberal media is saying nothing about Newt’s innocence in the allegations made against him by the democrats when he was Speaker of the House. However, some of us know what actually happened.
Newt was the upset of the century. He was a man with a vision and an idea every minute–Both the Republicans in the House and the Democrats hated him. Why? Because he was trying to bring down the power-hungry politicians and they didn’t like it. Newt is now and always has been for smaller government. I know he’s no angel but he is way too conservative for the media and for the rest of the politicians. They could not control him and because he had so many ideas for balanced budgets and economical responsibility, they had to get rid of him. His own party couldn’t work with him because they wanted the status quo and he wanted real change that would benefit the American people.
The democrats concocted the idea of bringing ethical charges against him. They knew the charges would not stick but just bringing them would bring him down to size. Every charge brought against Newt was a phony charge and every one of them was dismissed. You are going to hear Mitt Romney harp on the subject–he will have no evidence and he knows all the charges were brought for political reasons but he will harp on them hoping to bring Newt down. Don’t believe him. Romney will lie, cheat, even change his mind on every issue just to win this nomination. Mind you, he will do anything to win. Obama will do the same thing if Newt defeats Romney. He will attack Newt on every issue. None of the issues will be true and none of them will have anything to do with the Presidency. but the issues will be campaign issues.
The question is how much of this crap will the American people believe?
I suggest we all do our homework. Newt did quite a bit for Fanny and Freddie but none of it was illegal. I would suggest none of it was done behind closed doors. Even Newt has requested all the working papers pertaining to his work at Fanny and Freddie be released so the public can see them.
I am still supporting Newt until they prove he did something wrong and even then I might still support him.
The media and the democrats went after Rick Scott here in Florida with a ton of lies, none of which were deserving of any consideration. He defeated them in spite of their lies. I only hope the American people are as intelligent as the people of Florida if Newt wins the nomination.
Newt’s win in South Carolina only shows me that the South Carolinians are smarter than Romney and his liberal friends gave them credit for being.
Don’t be fooled by Romney’s smooth talking ways–Obama talked the same way and look what we got.
